Effective of September 2023, all coaches must meet a minimum criteria to hold a coach’s pass. All coaches that need the necessary diploma/license, must attend one of the upcoming coaching education classes in order to continue to have a coaching pass.
This requirement is league-wide for all coaches of all teams that obtain a coaching, assistant coach, manager pass – not something specific to NCHU. The majority of coaches in the club do not have this requirement (myself included) and must complete this course as soon as possible. Currently there are courses being offered NOW, with new dates being added regularly. The cost of the course is $65, which the club will reimburse you for upon completion. A check request form with proof of certification can be emailed to Fil Conte at treasurer@nchu.org. The courses are beginning to fill, and league plans to add dates which we will communicate to you, but as the season gets underway and then summer approaches, we ask you to consider taking the course sooner than later and check it off the to do list.
