Up to $2000 in scholarships will be awarded to college bound seniors who played soccer on a team in the Northport Cow Harbor United Soccer Club for a minimum of 5 years, with current activity in their junior and/or senior year of high school.
Applicants should submit an approximate 500-word essay explaining “how the concepts of teamwork, competition, sportsmanship and leadership have helped shape you as a young person and future leader and have prepared you for the challenges you will face in college and beyond.”
In addition to the essay, applicants should submit a cover letter defining any volunteer, service or other work they have done with the Northport Cow Harbor United Soccer Club or throughout the community, as well as highlighting academic, athletic or other noteworthy achievements. The letter should also include the years played with the club and on which team(s).
Applications consisting of a cover letter and essay should be sent via email to: secretary@nchu.org no later than June 20, 2025. Winners will be announced by July 1, 2025.
