Intermediate Soccer Concepts for Boys and Girls, ages 6-8
PDI is designed to provide a positive environment where youth players can enjoy the game while developing strong soccer skills through professional training. The program includes 16 professional training sessions with Cantera Futbol USA trainers and coaches, as well as travel to neighboring clubs for friendly matches with professional coaching.
U7 Players – (born 2019) will play 6 friendlys. These are small -sided games (4v4 no goalie). The objective is more touches, more decisions and more fun with less pressure.
U8 Players – (born 2018) will play 8 friendlys. These will be 7v7 with a goal keeper. The objective is spacing, passing, basic tactics and fun. This format prepares our U8 players for our Travel Program at U9.
Location : Veteran’s Park, Turf Field, Bellerose Avenue, East Northport NY
Time : 4:30-5:45pm
Dates: Wednesdays and/or Fridays (makeups to be communicated as needed)
March – 18, 20, 25, 27
April – 10, 15, 17, 22, 24
May – 1, 6, 13, 15, 20, 27, 29
Friendly’s will be played on Sundays as follows (locations and Times TBD)
U7 (2019): 4v4 – 3/29, 4/19, 4/26, 5/3, 5/17, 5/31
U8 (2018): 7v7 – 3/22, 4/12, 4/19, 4/26, 5/3, 5/10, 5/17, 5/31
COST – $648.00 for the Spring Season – Uniform Kit provided for ALL NEW players registering for the Spring 2026 season
